Medan is the capital of my province, North Sumatera . The city is very beautiful. Medan is the third largest city in Indonesia , after Jakarta and Surabaya . Medan is a city of tourist destinations . The tourists always flock to the city 's multi- ethnic . Dutch heritage buildings can still be found in the city of Medan because the city government still preserve any historic relics .

In Medan we find many recreational places such as museums , swimming pools , zoos and shopping malls .
